Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our team as Ice Cream Scoopers. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while serving delicious ice cream treats. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that each customer has a delightful experience. Your ability to engage with customers and promote our menu items will be key to your success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their visit.
- Accurately scoop and serve ice cream, ensuring portion control and presentation standards are met.
- Upsell additional menu items, such as toppings, cones, and beverages to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bussing tables and disposing of waste properly.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately using retail math skills.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and understanding retail math concepts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.88 - $14.64 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
