Job Description
The Shipping Associate reports to the Shipping Lead and is primarily responsible for unloading shipping trailers, preparing stage areas, and loading outbound shipments. This position will assist the Logistics and Productivity Managers with additional tasks as needed.
What You Will Do:
- Unload empty cardboard pallets, empty bread trays, pallet stacks, returned merchandise, returned Fridge/Freezer cover, etc. off shipping trailers from previous day shipments
- Load outbound shipments for the day
- Prepare store staging areas for orders that will be pulled/staged that day
- Pull orders - backstock merchandise, returns, Banana Boxes, snack, Costco, fridge/freezer, etc. as needed
- Add names to order pages being pulled - Ensure notes, changes, any other markings are clear/legible
- Pull all items on order (coordinate with coworkers, as needed when pulling items)
- Label pallets for staging (e.g. store location labels, numbered, etc.)
- Take out Garbage in Bay 2
- Clean and organize backstock aisles, racking, and all other areas needed or as assigned
- All other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Basic computer Skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel a plus)
- Strong relationship management skills
- Highly organized and able to communicate effectively

- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

What You Will Experience:
Work is generally performed in a retail store and warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Stand or sit for long periods of time
- Use a computer to enter data
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand needs
- Perform repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement
- Feel the attributes of objects, grasp, push, and reach with arms or hands.
- Move objects up to 10 lbs. (Must be able to frequently move/lift objects up to 25 lbs. in weight. May occasionally move/lift an object up to 50 lbs. in weight)

Pay: $13.00 per hour
