Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Fine Dining Waiters to join our team at The Big Eddy Club, an exclusive private club known for its exceptional service and culinary excellence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences for our members and their guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Excellence: Provide attentive and personalized service to members and guests, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience.
- Menu Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu, including daily specials, wine pairings, and dietary restrictions, to make informed recommendations.
- Table Management: Set up and maintain tables to the club’s standards, ensuring cleanliness and proper arrangement before, during, and after service.
- Order Taking: Accurately take and relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar staff, ensuring timely and precise service.
- Food Presentation: Serve food and beverages with a focus on presentation and professionalism, adhering to club standards.
- Member Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with members, responding promptly to inquiries and special requests.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and fellow waitstaff to ensure seamless service and communication throughout dining periods.
- Adherence to Standards: Follow all club policies, procedures, and health regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a waiter in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail pairings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
