Head Sales Specialist – On-Site Estimates & Business Development

📍 Location: Memphis, TN

🔹 Position Overview

The Head Moving Specialist is responsible for conducting on-site estimates for high-value residential (4,000 sq. ft.), long-distance, and commercial moves, as well as driving business development in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) and Restoration services. This role also leads Authority Takeover re-engagements for unbooked estimates, ensuring maximum conversion of high-value jobs.

In addition, this position plays a key role in storage sales growth, commercial lead generation, and Real Producers engagement, reinforcing the company’s position as the go-to expert for complex, high-value moves.

The Head Moving Specialist also serves as the company’s representative at Germantown Chamber of Commerce events, actively networking with business owners, property managers, and corporate clients to generate high-value moving leads.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

🛠 On-Site Estimate Execution (Primary Role)

✅ Conduct in-home and on-site estimates for high-value residential, commercial, and long-distance moves.

✅ Ensure same-day submission of estimates, maintaining strict accuracy standards.

✅ Document inventory, referral source, and move details in CRM to ensure data accuracy.

✅ Follow up on all estimates within 24 hours to increase booking rates.

✅ Minimize move-hour variances – estimates must be within 2 hours of actual move time.

📦 Storage Sales & Maximization

✅ Sell storage solutions to long-distance and downsizing move clients.

✅ Track and maintain monthly new storage vault sales to support business growth.

📢 Authority Takeovers & Re-Engagement Strategy

✅ Conduct follow-up calls for unbooked high-value estimates, positioning the company as the best solution.

✅ Work with Yvette to schedule and confirm re-engagement calls, ensuring that clients who didn’t book receive expert follow-up.

✅ Offer tailored solutions & urgency-driven messaging to push conversions.

🤝 Business Development – FF&E, Restoration, Realtor & Real Producers Partnerships

✅ Develop partnerships with FF&E suppliers, restoration companies, and commercial property managers to increase referral business.

✅ Attend Real Producers networking events to build strong relationships with top realtors handling luxury and complex moves.

✅ Represent the company at Germantown Chamber of Commerce events to reinforce industry presence.

✅ Follow up with all networking contacts within 48 hours, ensuring strong engagement.

✅ Log all networking-generated leads in CRM, tracking referral sources and conversion outcomes.

📊 Sales Performance & Follow-Up Strategy

✅ Maintain an estimate-to-booking conversion rate of 50% .

✅ Ensure all Authority Takeovers have a structured follow-up strategy.

✅ Track and report all new FF&E & restoration referral leads (goal: 10 per month).

✅ Ensure CRM tracking is updated daily to reflect accurate data on follow-ups and booked jobs.

🔹 Success Metrics (KPIs)

📌 Estimate-to-Booking Rate: 50% conversion rate.

📌 Authority Takeover Closing Rate: 50% re-engaged leads must convert.

📌 Storage Vault Sales: Consistently increase new vault sales (monthly tracking).

📌 FF&E & Restoration Referrals: Secure 10 per month from networking & partnerships.

📌 Follow-Up Compliance: 100% of estimates must receive a 5x Follow up 

📌 Real Producers Engagement: Ensure consistent lead flow and engagement from Realtor events.

📌 Networking Follow-Up Compliance: 100% of Germantown Chamber & event leads must be followed up on within 48 hours.

🔹 Required Skills & Experience

✔ Proven experience in sales, business development, or customer service (moving industry preferred).

✔ Strong negotiation & relationship-building skills, especially with realtors, restoration companies, and commercial property managers.

✔ Highly detail-oriented, ensuring estimate accuracy and successful follow-ups.

✔ Networking & event engagement skills, comfortable representing the company at industry events.

✔ Ability to handle objections and close high-value sales confidently.
