Job Summary
We are seeking Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring their automotive needs are met efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a customer-focused attitude to make interactions smooth between customers and our service and tire departments. Experience is not required but is welcomed. We will train the right candidate if needed.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services based on customer input and vehicle diagnostics.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure proper communication regarding vehicle issues and repair timelines.
- Manage cash handling processes, including processing payments and maintaining accurate transaction records.
- Follow up with customers regarding service recommendations and ensure they understand the work required on their vehicles.
Experience
- Previous experience in an automotive service environment is welcome but not required.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus, including familiarity with automotive diagnostics, and repair processes.
- Skills in cash handling and collaboration sales are highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and effective communication.
