What’s the role?

We’re looking to add a Content Creator and Social Commerce Manager to our US Marketing team. You’ll predominantly be creating content to support growth in the US and lead our TikTok shop efforts.

This is a middleweight role perfect for someone looking to step up from a junior position, make their mark and be part of an exciting and growing team.

You’ll report to the Head of Content Marketing and Community.

What will you be doing?

  • Organic content creation: Partner with the central Social Media Manager to deliver content for product launches, major campaigns, and key occasions. Film and edit content for social media as needed.
  • Produce Video Ads: Collaborate with the Head of Content to create ad campaigns for US audiences on Meta and Amazon.
  • Amplify partnerships: Work with the US Marketing Manager to create content that supports any partnership activity.
  • Support Retail Initiatives: Assist the US Marketing Manager in creating content to support retail activations.
  • Managing US Social Commerce: Take the lead in driving sales growth on platforms such as TikTok Shop by leveraging organic content, affiliate marketing, and TikTok live streams. Collaborate with our central marketing team for support and work towards achieving set goals.

What is Essential 

  • Content Creation Skills: Strong experience in shooting and editing videos, as well as taking high-quality photos, with a keen eye for creating engaging, entertaining, and on-brand content.
  • Social Media Savvy: A deep understanding of TikTok and other social platforms, including trends, best practices, and how to engage audiences effectively.
  • Collaborative Attitude: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing teams and external partners to deliver campaigns and activations.
  • US Market Knowledge: Familiarity with trends, culture, and consumer behaviour in the US to create relevant, localized content.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What is Desirable

  • TikTok Shop Experience: Previous experience managing TikTok Shop or similar e-commerce platforms.
  • Analytics Understanding: Basic knowledge of performance metrics on TikTok, Meta, and Amazon to track and optimize content success.
  • Passion for Gaming: A love for board games or family entertainment that aligns with Big Potato’s mission and values.

Salary: $60 -  $75k
