Position Overview:
As the Social Media & Content Manager you will act as in-house content creator, helping to develop and ideate new content in Kane’s brand voice. With a secondary emphasis on digital community management, this role is responsible for engaging with our audience in a timely and relevant manner, leaving every encounter better than it started. This role reports directly to the Senior Social Media Strategist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with Senior Social Media Strategist to create and iterate timely and engaging content that champions brand voice and focus.
- Ideate and execute in-house brand content to supplement production efforts: social media series, event activations, trending creative, founder & behind the scenes content.
- Collaborate with the Performance Marketing Team to help ideate, develop, and test content quickly.
- Own community management on social channels (Direct messages, comments, and other relevant posts), maintaining Kane brand voice leaving all inbound interactions better than they started.
- Organize and get approvals for use of organic UGC content that could be used in organic or paid social media
Qualifications
- 3 years experience in social media at a DTC brand
- Experience in the footwear or fashion industry is a plus
- Proven ability to take projects from high-level strategy all the way through to execution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation, planning, and analytical skills
- Team player willing to work in fast-paced startup environment
