Position Summary

The Corporate Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the Big Ray's Corporate Outfitting Sales Associates. This position will be responsible for leading the team to deliver exceptional customer service, and that efficiencies and SOP's are being adhered to.

Essential Job Functions

· Oversee day-to-day operations of the corporate outfitting sales associates.

· Ensure optimal staffing and results by hiring, training, managing, coaching, and disciplining employees as needed.

· Develop and maintain work schedules and work assignments based on order fulfillment needs.

· Responsible for ensuring the team delivers exceptional customer service.

· Develop, standardize, and iterate business processes, best practices, and other documentation across the team.

· Provide excellent communication with corporate outfitting customers while creating orders, preparing quotations and fielding special requests.

· Ensure the team is meeting/exceeding lead-time and processing goals.

· Monitor the fulfillment process and improve lead times and quality control.

· Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures.

· Maintain proper flow of merchandise to the sales floor.

· Assist in all roles of the team as necessary.

Non-Essential Job Functions

· Drive motor vehicle.

· Support retail operations as needed.

· Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Make routine job-related decisions.

Supervision Received and Exercised

This position is supervised by the corporate sales manager. This position supervises the corporate sales associates in Anchorage.

Physical and Mental Demands

The physical demands of this position require frequent standing, walking, sitting, speaking, and hearing. Requires near vision to write and read printed materials and computer screens. Requires hearing and

speaking to exchange information on the telephone or in person. The employee is regularly required to reach with his/her hands and arms and lift items weighing up to 40 lbs. Must be able to use carts, ladders, dollies, and stools to assist in moving or shelving items. Requires sufficient arm, hand, finger dexterity to operate a keyboard and other office equipment. Repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers may also be required. Requires the ability to operate a vehicle safely. Requires the ability to climb a flight of stairs. Additionally, the employee must be able to communicate by oral and written means in an appropriate business manner and have cognitive skills to understand instructions, readily recall facts and details, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a dynamic, fast-paced retail setting fulfilling large corporate orders with the offices located adjacent to the sales floor. The employee will occasionally be on the retail floor among clothing and related fixtures, among embroidery machines with moving parts and sharp objects, and in the warehouse among boxes of clothing and customer records. Nights and/or weekend availability is required. This position also may occasionally require attendance at major networking events and/or tradeshows that may or may not include evenings and weekends.

Job Qualifications

The following are required:

· High school diploma or GED.

· Minimum of two years of management experience.

· Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service.

· Demonstrated leadership abilities.

· Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems.

· Detail oriented.

· Demonstrated ability to set and accomplish goals.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong computer skills required.

· Knowledge of customer service best practices

· Demonstrated ability using data to drive operational decisions and insights.

The following is preferred:

· Three years of experience in warehouse operations/logistics is preferred

Additional job information

This position requires regular attendance in accordance with an established schedule as this is the most common time to conduct business with customers, vendors, and employees. Employees must also possess the following abilities:

· Ability to adhere to safety rules and other reasonable regulations pertaining to the position.

· Ability to refrain from violence.

· Ability to work in cooperation with other workers within the company.
