Overview

Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent service, taking orders and making recommendations based on their tastes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments and managing tabs efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and address any guest inquiries regarding menu items.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or related roles within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences.
- Proficiency in using cash registers and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Basic math skills for managing tabs and processing payments.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus, as well as familiarity with kitchen operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
