Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant nightlife environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, providing excellent service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service of food items.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and creating a friendly atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Utilize Aloha POS or similar systems for order processing and payment transactions.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food industry to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a nightclub or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation, and culinary skills related to food pairing.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems such as Aloha or OpenTable is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices within the kitchen and bar areas is essential.
