Summer Server/Bartender

The Frontier Frau is a brand-new brewpub joining the craft brewery scene. The first of its kind in Nebraska, The Frontier Frau focuses on tasty, traditional European lagers and unique food that perfectly complements the beer in our 110 capacity old-world venue.

The Frontier Frau is seeking some friendly part-time servers to join the team this summer season! Ideal candidates have a fierce devotion to excellent customer service and strong attention to detail. All teammates must be dependable and committed to doing the job well.

The needed shifts are after 5pm Thurs-Saturday (as-scheduled, might not be each day), with the potential to pick up a Wednesday evening shift or a Saturday day shift. No prior experience necessary, as long as the candidate demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn (we will train you no matter what!).

Individuals with full-time jobs or other part-time jobs are encouraged to apply so long as there is a strong commitment to taking shifts as assigned and discussed.

Other requirements:

*Must be at least 19 years old, per Nebraska law

*No arrests or convictions for drug-related offenses within the last five (5) years

*No arrests or convictions for crimes of dishonesty (ex. fraud, theft, burglary, perjury)

*No facial piercings or facial tattoos permitted while on shift

**NOTE ABOUT WAGES - Servers are guaranteed at least $13.50/hour every shift. A high-performing server on a busy night typically earns much more than that. We do NOT do tip sharing - you earn it, you keep it.

Duties:

- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations

- Ensure customer satisfaction

- Pour and serve beer in accordance with proper beer protocol

- Serve food in a timely manner in accordance with the customer's order

- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, taproom, and adjacent areas

- Monitor alcohol intake of customers to prevent overconsumption

- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using POS systems

- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service

- Uphold food safety standards and adhere to all regulations

- Support the brewpub team, as necessary

- Thoroughly and efficiently perform closing duties

- Other duties as assigned

Abilities:

- Be able to perform the physical demands of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation. Such demands may include, but are not limited to lifting 50 lbs, bending, and twisting.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary

Pay: $13.50 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
