Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Aquatics Manager to oversee the operations of our aquatic facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and high-quality experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a comprehensive understanding of aquatic management. You will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining facilities, and coordinating events to enhance guest satisfaction at our resort.
Duties
- Manage daily operations of the aquatic facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Supervise and train lifeguards and other aquatic staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and enhancing the overall guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all aquatic areas, including pools and surrounding facilities.
- Develop schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote events and activities that engage guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in aquatics management or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong background in customer service with a focus on hospitality within a resort setting.
- Proven ability to manage cash handling processes effectively.
- Experience in event management is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to swimming pools and aquatic facilities.
