THE WORK: As an Operations Coordinator, supporting a dedicated in office position, you will be responsible for facilitating working relationships between Big Star Transit, Transportation providers, Owner Operators, and Transdev client dispatch operations. This coordination will be performed while working in Spare Labs Technology, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams. This action will be administrated in-office, be specific to the Transdev approved Master Run Cut, and support strict contract adherence. This position will support daily route pullout oversight and adherence using Spare Labs Technology. This position will support Spare Lab duty assignments, day before data entry, and previous day route performance evaluations. Dart service hours of operation are between 3:00 a.m. and 12 midnight, 7 days per week. This includes but is not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison to the Transportation Network Operators supporting live-day pullouts; the first line of communication answering questions and addressing issues in real-time that might impact their performance.
- Makes and receives communications with various command centers to report and/or resolve issues in real-time that might impact the overall performance of the service being delivered.
- Coordinates and assigns back-up capacity and/or additional non-dedicated capacity upon demonstrated need due to scheduled network operator availability, breakdowns, incidents, or accidents.
- Monitors various computerized dispatch systems and telephones to meet provisions of scheduled services for quality on time performance.
- Deliver a compelling virtual and telephonic presence in support of the networks ability to make daily service.
- Monitor contractual performance of Transportation Network Operators; safety, on-time performance, and customer service; raising any high-level concerns to the General Manager.
- Monitor and report any contractual performance violations including but not limited to safety, on-time service, accidents and general service performance concerns to the Network Success Manager.
- Provide daily reports to Managers to recap live day service performance.
- Responsible for influencing positive vehicle operator morale and empathetic-centric customer service through various mediums of communication.
- Ability to be independently productive in both a traditional office environment with minimal supervision.

Education:
- Preferred:
- 1 or more years in dispatch or customer service environment
Language Skills:
- Required:
- Professionalism,
- Ability to speak proper English
Technical Experience:
- Required:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Tech savvy with the ability to quickly grasp various technologies
HOURS: 11am - 8pm
COMPENSATION: $25.00 per hour
