Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and education to children in a preschool setting, focusing on their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The Childcare Provider will work closely with our experienced staff to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that fosters learning and growth.
Duties:
- Provide individualized childcare to children aged 0-5, including infant care and preschool activities
- Develop and implement lesson plans, games, and activities that align with the children's interests and abilities
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and maintained according to our standards
- Manage classroom behavior and implement strategies for behavior management
- Collaborate with other caregivers to create a cohesive and nurturing environment
- Administer first aid and take necessary action in case of an emergency
- Provide meals and snacks to the children, ensuring healthy and nutritious options
- Establish and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with the children, parents, and staff
- Keep accurate records of the children's progress and communicate with parents regularly
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or nannying setting
- Knowledge of childhood development and ability to apply this understanding in the classroom
- First aid certification
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
Skills:
- Educate and support the growth and development of young children
- Experience working in a daycare or preschool setting
- Ability to care for children in various stages of development
