Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children in our care. This role involves engaging with children through various activities, ensuring their well-being, and supporting their developmental needs. The Childcare Provider will work closely with families to foster positive relationships and provide the highest quality of care.
Duties
- Educate children through age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Supervise and engage children in play, ensuring safety and encouraging social interaction.
- Provide infant care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior among children.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom or daycare environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Assist children with daily routines, including meals, naps, and personal hygiene.
Requirements
- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or working in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and behavior management techniques.
- Ability to create engaging educational activities tailored to various age groups.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine love for working with children.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents alike.
- Patience and adaptability in handling diverse situations in a childcare environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
