Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and talented Professional Wedding DJs to join our dynamic team. As a Wedding DJ, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for couples and their guests by providing exceptional music and entertainment services at weddings. Your ability to engage with the audience and adapt to various atmospheres will be key to ensuring every event is a success.

Duties

• Perform as the primary DJ at wedding events, ensuring seamless transitions between songs and maintaining an energetic atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their musical preferences and event requirements.
• Set up and break down sound equipment, including speakers, mixers, and microphones, ensuring proper functionality throughout the event.
• Engage with guests through public speaking, making announcements and introductions as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by being approachable and responsive to guest requests during the event.
• Market your services effectively to potential clients through networking and promoting your unique style.
• Assist with heavy lifting of equipment as necessary during setup and breakdown phases.
• Collaborate with other vendors (such as photographers and event planners) to ensure a cohesive experience for the couple.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DJ or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory; passion for music is essential.
• Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage an audience comfortably.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, guests, and vendors.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on creating enjoyable experiences for all attendees.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting of sound equipment safely.
• Knowledge of various music genres and trends; experience in dance music is a plus.
• Bartending experience is a nice-to-have but not required.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $125.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
