Job description

You will be responsible for leading the ramp up of manufacturing and product development of toys.  Overseeing and managing projects to meet deadline goals, participating in and leading milestone team meetings, ensuring all project team members are aware of project status throughout the product development process.  You will work closely with and manage cross-functional (Creative, Product Development, Engineers, Factories, etc.) teams.

What you will do

Create exciting toys by proactively managing and problem solving through the completion of development and manufacturing.  Create and manage new products for each season.  Oversee and Manage the activities of cross-function teams to support on time product launches

·       Maintain up-to-date Milestone Doc for tracking keeping team members on track.

·       Resolve challenges/recommend & implement solutions/escalate when deliverables are off the calendar promptly to team leads, with a solution-focused approach.

·       Establish product QC and inspection standards.  Oversee safety testing. 

Preferred Qualifications

·       Minimum 4-years experience with hands-on consumer products project management.

·       Proficient in project management & planning skills.

·       Knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes.

·       Proven persuasive, problem solver.

·       Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

·       Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and time-sensitive environment.

·       A proactive approach to managing and executing projects.

·       Ability to successfully take on multiple projects at one time.

·       Excellent understanding of product development & manufacturing processes.

·       Experience in the toys/baby/consumer products industry.
