Description
PURPOSE:
The Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator is responsible for performing and coordinating a variety of tasks, projects and work for the Dispatch and Logistics department. This position will have correspondence with customers, vendors, and employees through assisting with scheduling and order intake for concrete deliveries. The position requires excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide a high level of customer service.
- Communicate with customers, plant operations and truck drivers.
- Proficiently enter customer order information while actively talking to contractors/customer on the phone.
- Accurately enter detailed order instructions into BTC systems.
- Assist with resolution and diffusion of complaints.
- Confirm orders for next day delivery.
- Look for ways to improve and promote quality.
- Be proactive in identifying potential issues and opportunities and communicate them to others.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 3-5 years experience in administrative role
Bilingual a plus
3 plus years customer service experience
Knowledge of concrete business a plus but not required
