Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. High energy and positive attitude are a must! As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious beverages in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee bar and seating area
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment to prepare beverages
- Follow recipes and guidelines for beverage preparation to ensure consistency in taste and presentation
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Assist with food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches or pastries
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling purposes
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Food handling certification is a plus
