My employment law firm is looking to add another attorney and actively advise and represent clients in pre-litigation, litigation, and arbitration matters.My firm is seeking to hire an attorney to manage an active caseload of employment law matters. Most of the firm's work is for employees / plaintiffs while also advising, counseling, and representing businesses and defendants. Typical cases often involve wages, discrimination, harassment, restrictive covenants, and retaliation. The position will involve significant client interaction, legal research, drafting, taking and defending depositions, handling hearings and mediations, and participating in trial preparation and trials. The ideal attorney will be self-motivated, organized, efficient, personable, an effective communicator, and comfortable working in a small office environment.The firm's office is in Coral Gables, close to Merrick Park, and has covered parking. It is nicely appointed, quiet, and clean and provides a professional work environment. We use Mac computers and work in a paperless office.
