About the Position:
The ideal candidate will have experience handling labor and employment litigation, counseling, and compliance matters. The firm is looking for an attorney who can effectively represent clients in workplace disputes, provide strategic legal advice, and contribute to a growing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in employment litigation matters, including discrimination, wage and hour, wrongful termination, and other workplace disputes.
- Advise employers on compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws.
- Draft and review employment contracts, policies, handbooks, and separation agreements.
- Conduct workplace investigations and provide training on employment law compliance.
- Collaborate with clients on risk management strategies and dispute resolution.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- 3 to 6 years of relevant labor and employment experience in a law firm setting.
- Admission to the Florida Bar is required.
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and client counseling skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
