If you have experience advising clients on employment law, labor compliance, policies, contracts, administrative advocacy, and litigation, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Litigation: Manage all phases of employment disputes, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, depositions, and representing clients in state/federal courts and arbitrations.
Compliance & Advisory: Counsel clients on discrimination, harassment, wage/hour laws, FMLA, ADA, and local regulations. Draft policies, handbooks, and employment agreements.
Administrative Proceedings: Advocate before agencies such as EEOC, NLRB, DOL, and the Florida Commission on Human Relations.
Training & Development: Conduct seminars for HR teams and management on compliance and best practices.
Business Development: Participate in networking, client pitches, and contribute to the firm’s growth in the Miami market.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active membership in the Florida Bar.
7 years of labor/employment law experience
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
