We are seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research, drafting, and administrative support within a litigation setting.
*Responsibilities*
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support attorneys in case preparation
- Assist with drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather relevant information
- Review and organize legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Perform document review and analysis using legal software
- Assist with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and witness lists
- Maintain case files and update case management systems
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
- Attention to detail for accurate proofreading of legal documents
- Proficiency in legal administrative tasks, such as filing and maintaining records
- Excellent research skills to gather relevant information from various sources
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client communication
- Familiarity with document review processes and legal software, such as iManage
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures for efficient case management
