Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the food industry, particularly in restaurant management and fine dining environments. Late night, night-life experience preferred.
Guest Experience:
- Ensure a world-class dining experience for every guest, maintaining high standards of service and hospitality.
- Build strong relationships with guests, fostering loyalty and encouraging repeat business.
- Address guest concerns and feedback promptly and professionally, turning challenges into opportunities for improvement.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a skilled and professional team, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and accountability.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching to staff.
- Lead by example, maintaining a visible presence on the floor and setting the tone for exceptional service.
Financial Oversight:
- Manage budgets, P&L statements, and operational costs to meet financial goals.
- Implement strategies to drive revenue, control costs, and maximize profitability without compromising quality.
- Analyze sales and labor reports, adjusting staffing levels and expenses accordingly.
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including FOH and BOH coordination, to ensure smooth service flow.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor and manage reservations, capacity, and table turnover to optimize revenue while maintaining the fine dining atmosphere.
Event and Menu Collaboration:
- Work closely with the chef and culinary team to plan and execute seasonal menus, wine pairings, and special events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the restaurant and its offerings.
Vendor and Inventory Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
- Oversee inventory management and cost control for food, beverages, and supplies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role within a fine dining restaurant.
- Deep understanding of fine dining service standards, wine programs, and menu knowledge.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, analyzing P&L statements, and implementing cost-control measures.
