Packaging Line Lead

Salary: $26.00 per hr with increases available after successfully completing 90 day training and meeting job expectations.

Bilinski Sausage Mfg. Co. in Cohoes, NY is seeking a Production Line Lead for our Packaging operations to lead teams of 6-10 employees in preparing, packing, vacuum sealing, and labeling our ready to eat sausages.

Responsibilities Include

• Meeting packaging efficiency goals
• Motivating team members
• Ensuring compliance with dress code, on-time starts, and sanitation for the line
• Completing all batch paperwork and making sure all product packaging specifications are met
• Filling in for key line positions when needed
• Organizing and preparing all supplies, including labels and packaging materials
  
  

The right candidate is experienced in production machinery (preferably food machinery) and handling. Must have excellent attention to detail, be able to multi-task, and have a team player attitude.

Hours are daily 6:00am to 4:30pm - The ability to stay until production is completed is mandatory. Must be available to work Saturdays with a day off during the week.

NOTE: This is a refrigerated workspace, with temperatures generally around 35 degrees. We have a no facial hair policy and no jewelry policy for all production and warehouse positions
