Job Description:
As a Ford Service Writer, you will be the bridge between customers and our service technicians. You will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service, assessing vehicle needs, and coordinating repairs and maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and listen to their vehicle concerns with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Communicate repair and maintenance recommendations clearly and accurately.
- Prepare detailed service estimates and explain pricing and timelines.
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
- Keep customers informed about repair progress and any changes.
- Handle service records and ensure proper documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or similar role (preferably in a Ford dealership).
- Strong knowledge of automotive services, repairs, and warranties.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with dealership software and Microsoft Office.
- High school diploma or equivalent (automotive certifications are a plus).
