(Full Benefits) Counter Sales/Yard Technician

Bill’s Equipment & Supply, Inc. has been a local, family-owned and operated construction equipment rental and sales company serving the Pikes Peak Region for over 65 years. Superior service and a great customer experience are the foundation of our organization. We provide construction equipment rentals, sales and service to contractors and homeowners. Currently, we are seeking a motivated, hard-working individual with strong customer service skills for a position working in a variety of roles as needed: counter sales, yard tech, and non-CDL delivery driver.

The main focus of this position will be counter sales, which would include assisting customers over the telephone and in person, taking reservations, and writing rental contracts. Counter staff are also responsible for servicing equipment when they are not helping customers. There is an 8-12 week training period on the entirety of our fleet before moving into the counter sales role. This is a 40 hours/week position year round. Familiarity with the following is highly desired:

- Gasoline and diesel engines

- Heavy Equipment e.g. Skid steers, excavators, backhoes, boom lifts

- Hydraulic systems

- Electrical systems

- Axle, wheel, bearing, and suspension components

Applicants must have the following skills/qualifications:

- Construction equipment operation, repair and maintenance experience

- Strong troubleshooting abilities

- Ability to lift 100 lbs unassisted

- Clean driver's license - no excessive moving violations or any alcohol related infractions in the past 5 years(CDL not required)

- Drug free

- Team oriented

- Self-motivated/Self-sufficient

- Must have a positive attitude, exceptional customer service skills, and willingness to learn

- Computer proficiency is beneficial but not mandatory

- Pay will be depend on experience and is negotiable

- Must be at least 21 years old

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
