Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Canvassers. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with the community to promote our initiatives, gather support, and raise awareness. As a Canvasser, you will play a vital role in connecting with potential customers, sharing information, and helping us achieve our goals through effective outreach. We will train you on our equipment to be a back up driver/bin cleaner.
Responsibilities
- Conduct door to door canvassing to place a flyer on residents homes to promote the business.
- Communicate effectively with the public to explain our mission and objectives.
- Gather feedback and insights from community interactions to inform future strategies.
- Build rapport with potential supporters and encourage them to participate in our initiatives.
- Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure commitments and support from individuals.
- Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach efforts and improve effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and report findings to management.
Skills
- Proven experience in Sales or Fundraising is highly desirable.
- Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse audiences.
- Experience in Telemarketing or Door-to-door outreach is a plus.
- Ability to supervise or lead small teams during canvassing efforts is beneficial.
- Familiarity with market trends and effective communication strategies is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and handle objections gracefully.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
