Dumpster Delivery Driver – Bin There Dump That
Join our team at Bin There Dump That as a Dumpster Delivery Driver, responsible for safely transporting and delivering 6–20 yard roll-off dumpsters for residential and commercial projects. Job Title: Dumpster Delivery DriverJob Description: Safely pick up and deliver 4–20 yard roll-off dumpsters for residential and commercial projects using company software and completing required truck inspection reports.
Anticipated Start Date: 3-17-2025
Location: Colorado Springs, CO.
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with occasional weekends.
Licensing/Certification: Valid Driver’s License, Driver’s medical card.
Uniform: Dark pants, steel-toe safety boots, company shirts provided.
Qualifications:
- Must be 25 years of age or older with a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Professional attitude, appearance, and ability to represent the company professionally.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English, understand highway traffic and signals, and maintain legible reports and records.
- Some commercial vehicle operating experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Must have good understanding of local areas and neighborhoods.
Specific Skills:
- Operate and drive lift trucks to transport trash.
- Tarp dumpsters to ensure safety and security of cargo.
- Plan routes and travel schedules using GPS.
- Receive and relay information to central dispatchers.
- Oversee condition of vehicle by inspecting tires, lights, brakes, fluids, and other equipment.
- Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness.
- Perform minor preventative maintenance.
Additional Skills:
- Superior customer service and ability to manage customer inquiries, critical for building strong client relationships.
- Experience in the construction industry is a significant asset, enhancing understanding of our clients’ needs.
