Project Manager
Location: Remote and Onsite as Required: Wytheville, Virginia (with travel to Bland, Carroll, Grayson, Smyth, and Wythe Counties, as well as the City of Galax)

Job Summary
- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for MRCS.
- Oversee the coordination of all team activities, ensuring timely and successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans for assessments, ensuring all tasks are delivered on time and within scope.
- Coordinate communication between MRCS and key personnel.
- Establish communication and incident management plans to handle unexpected issues.
- Manage logistics, confirm test goals, and ensure all project deliverables meet MRCS’s requirements.
Reporting and Documentation
- Oversee the creation of detailed reports summarizing findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Provide regular updates to MRCS leadership on project progress.
Coordination and Communication
- Engage with team members and stakeholders to align on project goals.
- Facilitate ongoing communication between MRCS staff and contractors.
Compliance and Best Practices
- Ensure all testing and reporting align with NIST 800-171 standards.
- Incorporate cybersecurity best practices into project execution.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience managing cybersecurity or IT projects.
- Certifications: PMP, CompTIA Project , Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Work Environment
- Travel across MRCS service areas as needed for coordination and project oversight.
- Standard working hours are 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $71,658.00 - $76,181.00 per year
