Construction Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• These individuals will be responsible to identify all of the property restoration requirements caused from our construction crews performing underground Gas Line Replacement work.
• The property restoration needs are recorded and uploaded on an iPad on-site of the project.
• This construction work is on-going throughout our service territory in Southeast Michigan.
• These employees would be assigned different construction projects as they occur throughout the year and stay on each project until completed.
• The projects typically encompass neighborhoods and consist mostly of residential streets.
• Overtime hours may be required, based on need.
• In conjunction with recording the property restoration needs, these "Restoration Coordinators" will work as a liaison between the customers and the restoration vendors/process.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates must be able to be on their feet 90% of the day, there is a lot of walking involved in this role as well.
• Candidates MUST have their own transportation; mileage will be paid in accordance with the Company Travel/Expense policy.
• Candidates MUST have basic experience using an iPad and have basic Internet navigation

Skills

• Candidates MUST have experience with MS Office (Email, Excel, Word).
• Good communications skills are essential (communicating with customers, contractors, Field Crews, etc.)
• Liaison between inspectors (city, county, MDOT) Basic math skills

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Monday to Friday
