Bingham Ag Services is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Lead. This position is responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of the chemical room, managing inventory, making deliveries to customers, and ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes.
The Shipping and Receiving Lead will primarily be focused on:
· Supervise and maintain the warehouse area, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and optimal space utilization.
· Manage inventory levels, conduct regular counts, and coordinate with relevant departments to maintain accurate records.
· Safely organize, package, and deliver chemicals following established guidelines.
· Utilize forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently to handle materials and products within the warehouse.
· Collaborate effectively with the accounting and operations departments to ensure seamless workflow and accurate counts.
· Enforce and adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
· Ensure all HAZMAT containers are adequately labeled and that all chemicals are stored in the appropriate containers.
· Wear appropriate PPE when working with chemicals.
· Provide excellent customer service to growers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
· Accurately assemble orders and ensure prompt delivery.
The preferred candidate for the Shipping and Receiving Lead will have the following:
· One or more years dealing with chemicals and managing inventory and warehouse operations.
· Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with internal departments and external growers.
· Strong computer and math skills and able to learn company systems and processes.
· Adheres to the Company’s values and ethical expectations.
· HZMAT endorsement or ability to obtain.
Required:
CDL required - Minimum Class B.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
