Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Nurse Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with certification by the State Board of Nursing as a Nurse's Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and surgical staff during procedures.
- Stock and inventory unit supplies in the surgery core.
- Provide non-direct patient care and support services under supervisor direction.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Certification by the State Board of Nursing as a Nurse's Assistant.
- BLS certification required.
- CNA certification recommended but not required.
Essential Functions:
- Functions as a role model for current and new staff.
- Performs all responsibilities/duties required by the Surgical services division.
- Attends all required safety training programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Surgical and/or Medical Supply experience.
- Minor Computer skills.
