We’re looking for a talented Drainage Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to support transportation and public works projects across the state. You'll be designing and analyzing complex drainage systems and stormwater management solutions for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and municipal clients, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and innovation. This role requires a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license. Proficiency in OpenRoads Designer (ORD) is preferred.

What You Will Do
- Design and develop drainage systems for transportation and municipal projects.
- Collaborate with TxDOT and municipal clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Utilize OpenRoads Designer (ORD) for designing and modeling drainage systems (preferred).
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support project designs.
- Prepare and review engineering reports, plans, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project teams.
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Perform site visits and inspections as needed.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas (required)
- 4-6 years of experience in drainage engineering, specifically with TxDOT and municipal clients in Texas.
- Drainage experience required, but will also work on water, sewer, and pipeline.
- Proficiency in OpenRoads Designer (ORD) is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of TxDOT drainage criteria and procedures and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HY-8, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
