Field Technical Service Representative

Summary

The Field Technical Services Representative will be responsible for leading and providing technical service and support on Binks’ Spray Fluid Technology products and equipment to our customers.

Essential Functions

• Provide technical assistance to partners and customers on Binks Intellispray products.  Support will include phone, email, and on-site field visits. 
• Provide authorized applicator training using the Intellispray Application program.
• Support Binks Equipment with equipment demos and maintenance and repair. 
• Support product management team by conducting ease of use evaluations on company and competitor products. 
• Support R&D in new product evaluations internally and externally with customers.
• Support product management with codes, standards and regulations.
• Participate in cross-functional teams where new technology might be developed.
• Act in accordance to company policies and best practices.

Minimum Qualification

• High School Diploma or Equivalent 
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as an applicator spraying polyurethane insulation systems with at least 1-year technical troubleshooting experience with Graco, PMC, and or other manufacturers’ equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, especially as related to Sprayfoam proportioners and guns
• Direct experience with Insulation, Coatings, Building Envelope Systems, and/or Roofing systems.    
• Strong knowledge of building science principles and best practices. 
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft suite (work, excel, outlook and power point); other web-based applications such as Customer Relations Management Systems, etc. required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills required.   A high level of effective presentation skills to individuals and groups required.
• Demonstrated focus on delivering optimal customer service directed at meeting customer needs and company goals and objectives required. 
• Demonstrated record of influencing key external stakeholders in the polyurethane foam market
• Established relationships and contacts within the foam community is desirable.  

Travel

• Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
