Job Title: Welder
Reports to: Wang Lee
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job purpose: Perform welding requirements on customer orders for Binks equipment.
Description:
- Weld tubular frames (mig-tig) and sheet metal (mild steel) from blueprints.
- Hold close tolerances, hold parts square.
- Preform set-up requirements, operate drill press and cut-off saw.
- Calculate material requirements on a system-by-system basis.
- Comply with company policies, quality standards, and relevant environmental and safety laws.
- Perform other related responsibilities as needed and assigned.
Requirements:
- Qualified candidates will have industrial welding technical training with preferred 1-2 years of related experience particularly in welding tubular frames from blueprints.
- Previous sheet metal experience a plus (shear/punch/press brake).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
