What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Sleep technician experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to teach and train on equipment
- Set up CPAP devices for patients, ensuring proper installation, calibration and function
- Teach patients the importance of compliance and use of CPAP device
- Maintain an average CPAP compliance rate for patients as set forth by VP of Respiratory
- Be an active participant in the CPAP/Respiratory Tech meetings to review monthly stats
- Complete proper patient documentation in initiation of respiratory therapy procedures
- Answering in-store phone calls for respiratory or sales floor
- Coordinate all aspects of services including physician’s orders
- Coordinate with the patient and caregiver(s) for therapy and/or equipment instruction
- Perform sales and rentals using the POS system
- Requisitioning of product
- Enter patient information in computer systems
