Certified Fitter-orthotics (CFo)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Certification by the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC) 

• Ability to work well independently and with other management/personnel

• Excellent communication skills

• 1 year of DME or orthotic or prosthetic clinical experience preferred 

• Outstanding customer service skills

• Durable Medical Equipment experience 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: 

• Answer incoming phone calls from customers 

• Interview and evaluate customer's orthotic needs.

• Measure and fit, discuss therapeutic goals, discuss donning and doffing of product and wear and care of product(s) to customer.

• Determine which item as well as the manufacturer to order from.

• Excellent documentation skills of customer's history and visit to orthotic department.

• Update skills by attending conferences, seminars, and in-house in-services.

• Requisition products for the orthotic department on an as-needed basis based on customer demands.

• Maintain, set mins/maxs and cycle count inventory levels to meet the demands of customers.

• Periodically responsible for traveling to and covering locations when requested by management. Home office may change based on staffing needs.

• Additional duties as assigned by management.

• Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
