Position: Project Manager (Clinical & Data Governance)
Location: Ridgefield, CT (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months (with possible extensions)
3 days a week onsite
Top Skills & Duties:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical business processes in IT and data governance required.
- Project management lead in pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical data, including, but not limited to: IQVIA, Veeva Compass, & Symphony a plus.
- Pharma Project Management experience is highly preferred with an understanding of technology used to keep the project moving.
- Ideally looking for a Clinical PM with deep technology experience as it relates to projects and project management.
- This person will be a member of the informatics team. This team includes Data Governance, Identified Patient Data, Reporting, and Shared Vendor Services Partner (on/offshore resources)
- Team responsibilities will include: Procuring 3rd party Pharma data, Procuring HCP (Health Care Professionals) reference data, Data control and access (who can access what and when), HCP state licensing info (ensuring that the teams are calling the right HCP professionals particularly if samples are required), Data touch across cross functional teams to include legal (an understanding of privacy as it relates to this data is paramount)
- PM would be responsible to keep all the aforementioned groups/data moving according to schedule
- Conversion is possible longer term for BS or higher candidates, so they tend to hire these resources only.
Qualifications:
Project Management:
- Experience with various product management methodologies and frameworks, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban, and Hybrid.
- Define and document project scope, objectives, and desired outcomes.
- Prepare an estimated timeline based on the project scope.
- Set and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally.
- Taking initiative and able to work independently. Highly Motivated.
- Pharma/ Pharma Data experience is a plus
Team Management:
- Managing cross matrix teams for the execution of projects.
- Evaluate project performance.
- Day-to-Day Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day project activities.
- Communicate both internally and externally.
- Assess risks and involve the stakeholders early if any roadblocks.
Project Closure:
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Facilitate project closure.
- Review, assess current inventory of standard procedure documents and drive updates
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $59.00 per hour
