Risk Manager - NATO ACT
Location: Norfolk, VA
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Risk Manager to join our team supporting NATO's Allied Command Transformation (ACT). In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with NATO's transformation initiatives. You will work closely with military and civilian leaders to ensure the successful implementation of new technologies, doctrines, and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of NATO's transformation programs, including emerging technologies, operational concepts, and organizational changes.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Monitor and track key risk indicators to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Prepare and present risk assessments and mitigation plans to senior leadership.
- Advise on the development and implementation of risk management frameworks and policies.
- Collaborate with international partners and stakeholders to ensure effective risk management across the NATO alliance.
- Stay informed on emerging threats and challenges facing the alliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably within a military or defense environment.
- Strong understanding of NATO's structure, operations, and challenges.
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently 1 and as part of a team. 2

Pay: $114,657.00 - $140,000.00 per year
