Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Sonographer to join our Women’s Health team in Burlington. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging to assist in the care of women, specifically in obstetric and gynecological imaging. You will play a key part in delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and utilizing advanced sonography techniques to support accurate diagnoses.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound imaging for obstetric and gynecological patients, ensuring high-quality and precise results.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, alleviate concerns, and ensure their comfort.
- Capture and document diagnostic images and reports in accordance with established clinic protocols.
- Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, reporting any technical issues as needed.
- Provide technical assistance to physicians in interpreting ultrasound images and contributing to patient care decisions.
- Adhere to safety and confidentiality protocols in accordance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and sonography practices, particularly in women’s health.
- Maintain a professional, empathetic, and supportive environment for patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and optimal outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Sonography program (Diploma, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s).
- Certification in diagnostic medical sonography (ARDMS or equivalent).
- 3-5 years of experience as a Sonographer, preferably with a focus on women's health, obstetrics, and gynecology.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology related to women's health.
- Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment and imaging software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Pay: $76,980.00 - $119,059.00 per year
