Summary
General Summary
This position is responsible for coordinating and collaborating with investigators and research subjects to schedule and screen potential subjects for research studies.
This position will work to meet daily/weekly/monthly recruitment goals, handle all aspects of recruitment/scheduling of donors for various research projects, and ensure that the confidentiality of all work ‐ related information is maintained.

It is essential that the incumbent have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old with a good driving record to meet organization driving standards.

Essential Tasks
Recruits and schedules study participants for research studies.
Assesses inclusion and exclusion criteria for research studies to ensure subjects meet study criteria, according to IRB guidelines.
Manages recruitment calls/emails, including incoming calls/emails and calling/emailing potential research subjects.
Performs reminder calls/texts/emails to research subjects prior to scheduled appointments.
Performs follow ‐ up contact with research subjects.
Tracks recruitment efforts, subject interaction, and subject participation in research studies, potentially utilizing a clinical trial management system.
Utilizes, maintains, and recruits interested subjects to a research registry.
Develop proficiency regarding the protocols of various research studies.
Responsible for assisting in development of phone, email, and text message scripts per protocol specifics.
Meet specific daily/weekly/monthly recruitment goals for research collections.
Provides weekly status updates on recruitment activities.
Updates project staff regularly on recruitment and community engagement activities and liaise with other staff on recruitment efforts.
Maintain participant tracking and screening enrollment logs.
Maintain all system reports.
Participate in community outreach to recruit subjects for studies.
Maintain open communication channels, communicating effectively and professionally.
Performs all duties in a manner that protects the confidentiality of patients and does not solicit or disclose any confidential information unless it is necessary in the performance of assigned job duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
Requires a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
Licenses and/or Certifications
Valid United States Driver’s License
Current CITI training (can be obtained during the first month of employment)
Experience
Requires one or more years of job specific experience in research recruitment, clinical research, telemarketing, or customer service call center environment.
Prefer blook bank or medical experience.
Knowledge
Must obtain a working knowledge of regulatory/quality requirements and perform within all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies.
Must have previous work experience with Microsoft Office, to include Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
Must be or become familiar with the community and area serviced.
Skills
Must possess strong organizational, customer service, and troubleshooting skills.
Must have strong computer skills.
Must be capable of operating motor vehicles in all types of weather conditions.
Must have excellent telephone and/or email etiquette skills.
