Job Description:
Candidates will be developing in Visual Studio, C# and should also have strong experience with development and configuration of MS Dynamics, as well as experience with MVC, Linq and SQL. JavaScript is used quite a bit too, so experience with that as well will be important. It is also important that candidates have experience with Azure DevOps or a similar configuration management system.
The ITD (DMV) has the obligation to provide a variety of motor vehicle registration services, operator licensing services, and regulatory compliance services as mandated by the Idaho Legislature and applicable Federal regulations. DMV is modernizing their systems and is developing and maintaining a significant baseline of source code and associated data base structures as a part of this modernization effort.
The scope of this work is to develop software systems for:
- Driver's License Issuance and Credentialing
- Vehicle Registration and Titling
- Motor Vehicle regulation compliance
- Commercial Motor Vehicle Services
- Motor Vehicle Dealer licensing
- Supporting Administrative Systems
- Other features and functions as designated by the Motor Vehicle Administrator
Agency Expected Deliverables
- Reviewing, understanding and implementing defined customer requirements.
- Reviewing, understanding and correcting identified problems.
- Testing and verification of operation consistent with user requirements.
- Source Code meeting ITD quality standards and in conformance with established procedures.
- Release of object code meeting ITD quality standards and in conformance with established procedures.
- Interacting with technical and non-technical staff as needed in the execution of the above in an Agile/Scrum environment
Experience required:
- Experience in w/.NET/C#, MS Dynamics, MVS, LINQ, JavaScript, and Azure DevOps or a similar configuration management system.
Important:
- This is a FULLY ONSITE position.
- LOCAL candidates who are willing to work fully onsite, 40 hours/week in this role.
- Candidates must be willing and able to go to the client location for an ONSITE, IN-PERSON interview if selected for interview.
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) are critical in this role as the resource will be interacting regularly w/technical developers, architects, and managers, as well as non-technical subject matter experts, stakeholders, and project managers.
