We are hiring a Project Manager for one of our clients in Maricopa County, AZ.
Job Description :
The IS Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for the project management of large and complex projects which have cross-organizational impacts. They must maintain complete control on project scope, schedule, and budget in accordance with ETI's project management standards to ensure the successful completion of all projects with high quality.
Skills Required :
Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Lead and manage the successful implementation of County-wide technology projects and programs in accordance with project management standards
Develop project proposals, project charters, work breakdown structures, and detailed project plans.
Determine resource allocations for the defined project tasks and monitor tasks to completion.
Manage and maintain project scope, document, manage, and mitigate project risks, and manage / resolve project issues.
Responsible for complex budget tracking and monitoring of multimillion dollar projects which includes overseeing both internal and external employees, professional services, and vendors.
Develop and maintain regular reports to executive leadership, project team members, and stakeholders. Effectively communicate risks, issues, and decisions in a timely and well-thought-out manner.
Ensure compliance with change control and quality management policies.
Notify management of policy changes or exceptions in a timely manner.
Validate that all vendors fulfill the terms of contract and deliverables.
Maintain historical project records.
Communication skills both verbal and written are a must.
Project manager must be able to communicate with executive level leaders and other managers as required.
Prepares and communicates with executive steering committee.
Experience Required :
A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing projects.
Education required :
Bachelor's degree in business administration or an IT related field
