We are a quickly growing Prosthetic and Orthotic practice searching for an experienced Social Media and Marketing Associate based at our Activity and Business Center in Merrillville, IN. This is a full-time position with office hours Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM.
As the Social Media and Marketing Associate at Bionic Prosthetics and Orthotics, you will be resposible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media and marketing strategies. You will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, engagement, and business growth. Your key resposnsibilites will include:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understanding and learning the mission and vision of the organization, the spectrum of services provided and the core essence of patient care at Bionic.
- Maintain, lead, and execute all engaging content creation for all relevant social media platforms on a regular basis. Including but not limited to, FB-Meta, IG, LinkedIn, Google Business, Twitter and Yelp - with a goal of sharing successful patient outcomes, showcasing technological advancements, practitioner skills, creating community awareness about the range of products and services offered, providing educational snippets to the end users and the medical community in general.
- Stay current and track social media metrics and make data-driven decisions for optimization to maintain Bionic brand standards.
- Collaborating with clinicians in different regions to capture and present patient success stories, create a peer support program for patients and organize educational events for patients and referrals alike.
- Design internal and external engagement and team building projects, to promote on social media platforms, local press outlets, referral sources and to the community in general to drive followings and Bionic brand awareness.
- Assessing and analyzing market data and trends to create targeted ad campaigns to increase awareness about the organization and its services - specific to the needs of regions and clinics.
- Focus on Public Relations as part of the marketing activity - engaging with other local agencies and organizations related to patient care services we provide and with other business-related associations locally and nationally.
- Analyze the need for, design, produce, procure and provide all necessary marketing material to clinics in a timely and efficient manner and oversee the effective use of such material.
- Create and manage community service plans which will include the scheduling of events for the organization and all team members as part of the staff engagement plan.
- Is responsible for developing and demonstrating a positive company attitude, camaraderie and morale among personnel.
- Participates with and advises management in the development of new directions and innovative opportunities for organizational growth and development.
- Performs such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
Required Skilled/Abilities/Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field (preferred) or relevant work experience in the field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative content writing with grammatical expertise
- Efficient in computer use, digital tools, market research, social media engagement
- Substantial organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Continuously searches for process improvements to achieve accuracy and efficiencies
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving abilities, and attention to detail
- Impact-oriented mindset with a bias for action and a passion for doing the impossible
