What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Support Specialist/Sample Intake position at BioPet Laboratories?
Sample Intake: Receiving samples daily- confirming sample numbers and customer information for both processing and billing purposes. GREAT attention to detail required.
Phones: Taking calls and directing the call to the proper extension/department. Answering customer questions/complaints about our DNA programs or their database accounts with a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
Administrative: Work extensively on Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks. Contact customers regarding accounts.
Other: Other customer service-related duties, which may vary depending on the sample traffic and season, include but are not limited to customer account maintenance, maintaining spreadsheets, and sample kit manufacturing.
Required: One to two years in a customer service setting which includes experience in handling phone calls. Experience in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks a plus.
