Manager Procurement
What you will do

Amgen Rhode Island is seeking a dynamic and strategicProcurement Managerto lead and optimize procurement operations, supplier management, and supply chain initiatives. This role requires a balance of leadership, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in procurement processes.
In this vital role you will oversee procurement activities, develop strategies that align with business goals, and mitigate supply chain risks. This position requires strong leadership skills to manage an impactful team and enhance procurement efficiency through data-driven insights and best practices.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Procurement & Supplier Management
- Develop and lead forward-thinking procurement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and supplier reliability while ensuring business continuity.
- Establish, manage, and optimize long-term supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Align procurement initiatives with global sourcing strategies, optimizing category management and standardizing processes across the organization.
- Drive supplier performance management, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and service level expectations.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
