Marketing & Social Media Part-Time Coordinator

Position Summary 

The Marketing & Social Media Intern Part-Time Coordinator is essential for assisting the Manager of Donor Development and Communication with all aspects of marketing to support the continued growth of the Sharing Miracles birth tissue donation program. The role also includes assisting in the creation of the communication plan and content for BioTissue’s Sharing Miracles program, including developing and communicating public education content, creating, scheduling, and monitoring social media, creating and updating resources and brochures, and developing website content to promote organ and tissue donation with an emphasis on birth tissue. 

 This opportunity is an 8-month part-time role, with a maximum of 20 hours of work per week. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

• Supports the Manager in continued growth of the Sharing Miracles program.
• Assists in creating digital and printed educational marketing and promotional materials, brochures, job aids, testimonials and videos.
•  Schedules content to support Sharing Miracles via website and social media and keeps information current.
• Assists in creating printed educational marketing and promotional materials to support Sharing Miracles through brochures, posters, job aids and advertising.
• Assists in the development, planning and execution of corporate events to amplify donation culture across our organization.
• Assists in identifying new opportunities for community/public engagement and education supporting birth tissue and donation as a whole while increasing brand awareness.
• Assists with connecting & collaborating with local donation focused organizations regarding sponsorships, fundraising and educational opportunities.
• Assists in promoting donation through collaboration and engagement with Donate Life America, utilizing resources that have been provided as well as creating internal content.
• At the direction of the Manager, represents the organization at local and potentially national events to promote the Sharing Miracles brand in support of birth tissue donation.
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Demonstrate organization, clarity of communication, documentation, and effectiveness in completing tasks.
• Responsible for other projects and duties as assigned by the Manager. 

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree in a marketing field is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and marketing applications such as Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, WordPress, etc.
• Proficiency in social media applications & analytics. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a fast-paced work environment required.
• Valid driver’s license 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in eye and tissue banking and/or donation services marketing and social media. 
• Proven ability to provide excellent work output with an emphasis on creativity, accuracy & time management.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Frequently required to sit; occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, lift up to 25 pounds, and bend or twist.
• High level of concentration and mental effort.
