BioTrans LLC is a global logistics provider specializing in cold chain transportation, technology and infrastructure for the life sciences industry.

Job Highlights:

5 days route coverage can include weekends. 2 days off. Schedule ranging from picking up late at night and delivering first thing in the morning to routes that begin first thing in the morning and run throughout the day. Flexibility is key.

Chance of Over the Road (OTR) with an overnight (hotel paid by company). Passport Required

Must have a current DOT Medical Certification

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and driving either a 13ft or 26ft box truck in a safe, timely manner
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
• Maintain vehicle appearance by ensuring all routine vehicle maintenance is completed and records maintained and notify manager of any issues
• Familiar with HOS/E Logs and DOT regulations or willing to learn to use E Logs
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to dispatch/ managers
• Warehouse duties - Clean, wash and sanitize truck's

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and fumes or airborne particles. Must be able to safely tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and squatting.
• Extended periods of sitting.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of Age
• Current, valid driver’s license (CDL NOT required)
• Maintain a current DOT Medical Certification
• Must have a valid passport.
• 1 year Over the Road - (OTR) experience preferred
• Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background check
• Preferred clean driving record - No driving-related suspension, revocation or cancellation, no disqualifying offenses, no more than 3 moving violations or at fault accidents in the last 3 years (Due to insurance)
• Basic computer, tablet and/or smartphone skills, GPS and familiar with scanning devices
• Experience driving box truck's (13ft and 26ft)
• Be a quick learner, detail-oriented, dependable, have a positive attitude
• Communication proficiency - Able to follow verbal and written directions
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work as needed preferred and availability on weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
