Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Quality Control Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. You will work closely with production teams to implement quality assurance processes and conduct thorough inspections of materials and finished products.
Responsibilities
The Quality Control Technician would be responsible for laboratory assays and data collection regarding technical specifics of several products. The Quality Control Technician will be able to carry out independent experiments including, but not limited to gel electrophoresis, microbial isolation, cell staining and microscope imaging.
The Quality Control Technician would be responsible for the accurate documentation of all quality control experiments performed. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for data input of results into an online interphase. The Quality Control technician will report to the Lab Manager and work closely with Production Technicians for each product line.
We are looking for someone with an Associate or Bachelor of Science in the following fields: biology, genetics, chemistry, etc. with 0-1 years of lab experience. We are also interested in candidates with related professional certifications paired with 2 years of lab experience. Applicants with degrees in fields not listed will also be considered with sufficient lab experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate reports on quality metrics.
- Experience with quality inspection techniques, including visual inspection, measurement tools, and testing procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a focus on individual responsibilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
